They had their eyes set on the perfect contractor, or so they thought. But as fate would have it, their dream quickly turned into a renovation rollercoaster.

The contractor they hired… oh boy, let’s just say it didn’t go as planned. He took a hefty sum, promised the stars, and left the project in a half-baked mess. Our suspicion is that he simply, like many others, just under-estimated the job! Which is a story way too familiar to our ears.

Yeah, well, it turned out the electrical and plumbing work was a hot mess, to put it mildly. What was supposed to be sorted was, in reality, a real mess that needed complete redoing. The drawings were gone, there were no specs on anything supplied to the homeowner. Meaning, how did they know where to put the plumbing when they had no kitchen drawings as to where the sink of the dishwasher would go? How how did they know?

So, we rolled up our sleeves, grit our teeth, and got to work.

Four months of dedication, reworking things already installed, and attention to detail led us to the finish line.

We didn’t just fix the problems; we took that once sorry-looking 1 1/2 story garage and transformed it into a loft straight out of a Pinterest board.

We even went above and beyond and helped the homeowner find the perfect tenant once we were done. Things like that stick will be remembered for years to come. The once stressful situation turned into a fun remodel. We made it fun. And here are a few ways that happed…We kept in constant contact with the homeowner via text or email to let her know what the next move was. We supplied her with inspiration mood boards and suggested selections so she didn’t have to stress over additional decisions. And we simply help her hand through the process.. It was like having a Reno BFF who’s only job was to take care of her. She felt trusted and that was exactly what she needed!

Finally, after rounds of sweat, reworking, and countless cups of coffee, the project reached its conclusion. The transformation, with the budget supplied, was nothing short of breathtaking. It was the kind of stunning that made you forget about the chaos it once was. We handed the homeowner the keys (and remember, a new tenant too!) to their new dream space – a space that went beyond what they had ever imagined
